Twellow Blog

Twellow continues to grow, and as of this writing we have 1,812 active categories in our system. This has led us to redesign our “All Twellow Categories” page to be a little more browser-friendly. We’ve broken the one giant page down into twelve pages of categories so your browser doesn’t have to deal with rendering out all these categories on one page. As more categories are added the number of pages will necessarily increase, so this is just another step in the relentless march toward improvement.

Now that Twellow has grown to over a thousand categories, we’ve been looking at allowing Twellow users to search those categories. We’ve just implemented a feature on search results pages that shows any categories that might match your search terms. This should make it easier to find profiles that you are interested in, as well as being able to see if we have a category that matches your interests without needing to scan our entire list of categories on our “All Categories” page. This will make Twellow easier to use and understand for a lot of people.

We continue to receive suggestions for new categories, so I’d again like to let our users know about some of the latest ones. We’ve also received suggestions for additional Social Links to allow users to expand their profiles even further.

Here at Twellow we’re constantly working to make things better, so we’re pleased to announce the creation of a few more categories to help you find the people you’re looking for. These have been created to specifically address requests from several Twellow users, so I’d like to encourage you to contact us with any suggestions you might have for new categories.
