The great value in using Twitter is in connecting with people who share your common interests. While Twitter itself offers a list if suggested users to follow, it’s not a personalized list, and it doesn’t really include people that might share common interests with you, unless you are simply a celebrity hound who does nothing but stalk movie stars, politicians, and large corporations. At Twellow we have a better way of suggesting people to follow.

One of the things we often read people commenting on is the difficulty in managing followers and followings for Twitter. Twellow has introduced a few new features that will help in sifting through your followers and those whom you follow. And we’ve also added a slight change to our interface to make finding our most used Twellow features easier.

Locked DoorThere has been much talk as of late on several high-profile blogs about a phishing scam and other security issues associated with Twitter and applications that access the Twitter API, such as Twellow. Here at Twellow we are not ignorant of the concerns many of our users have regarding this issue, so I’d like to explain how Twellow uses your sensitive Twitter information, specifically your password.

Some Twellow users may have noticed our people counter has stopped increasing and trending categories have been frozen for the last several hours. Not to worry. Twitter is currently experiencing some technical issues with their data feed but should have it resolved shortly.
